Welcome to Mount Hermon Community Baptist Church! Since our establishment in 1991, we have been dedicated to serving the beautiful community of Sunrise, Florida. Under the compassionate leadership of Senior Pastor Morrison since 2006, we strive to be a beacon of hope and love in our area.
Our mission is clear: To broadcast the Word of God throughout our community and bring others to know and experience God's love through the various ministries of our church. We believe in the power of connection and the importance of sharing God’s message with everyone around us.

Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Fitz A. Morrison
Mount Hermon Community Baptist Church is a church with a warm welcoming
atmosphere. We are under the umbrella of the Florida Baptist Convention and Broward
Baptist Association. As pastor of this local church, my purpose is entwined in the
mission of our church: to build up and edify believers, proclaim the gospel through
preaching, evangelistic outreach, and other events in the community with the goal to
bring others to know and experience God’s love. My vision is to see members of our
church wholly committed to God and being used by Him to reach the community and
beyond for Christ.
